Publicly available data on Covid-19 are analyzed using Excel workbooks, to give estimates for Case Fatality Rates, including the impacts of vaccination and variants.  A simple method is presented to provide R-value and growth rate estimates which are in fair agreement with official numbers, provided that the latter are understood to be more than two weeks out of date.  The analysis of cases during the period of the EURO2020 championships illustrates a potentially interesting test-bed for spread of infection among sub-populations.
