Dr Edward Hill is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Warwick, affiliated to the School of Life Sciences, the Mathematics Institute and a member of the Zeeman Institute: Systems Biology & Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (SBIDER) group. Dr Hill is also a member of JUNIPER (Joint UNIversities Pandemic and Epidemiological Research), a consortium of epidemiological modelling groups from seven universities: Bristol, Cambridge, Exeter, Lancaster, Manchester, Oxford and Warwick.

 

Research interests: Application of mathematical and computational methods in epidemiology. In particular, parameter inference, outbreak prediction and development of interventions pertaining to infectious disease outbreaks and social contagion.

Flavio Toxvaerd (University of Cambridge)

Dr Flavio Toxvaerd is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge and a member of the Microeconomic Theory Research Group. Flavio holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen (BSc Economics, MSc Economics), the London School of Economics (MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics) and the London Business School (PhD Economics) and was awarded a Mid-Career Fellowship by the British Academy (2012-2013).
 
Research Interests: Microeconomic Theory. Game Theory. Finance. Industrial Organisation. Economic Epidemiology.
