The Newton Gateway is a Partner in Innovate UK Analysis for Innovators Programme. Innovate UK Analysis for Innovators is a programme that gives UK businesses of any size access to cutting-edge R&D expertise and facilities to help solve problems that they have been unable to tackle using standard technologies and techniques. It might be around product reliability, cost or product lifetime. Through its established relationships with universities across the UK, within the programme, the Gateway can connect businesses with the most appropriate mathematical and statistical modellers.

Professor William Lee and Dr Ann Smith from the University of Huddersfield have been taking part in the programme in partnership with the Newton Gateway. One such project has been with Friction Flow Measurement Ltd.  The company was able to utilise the expertise of Professor Lee and Dr Smith to solve problems the company had been experiencing with its flowmeter.
