The Cantab Capital Institute for the Mathematics of Information (CCIMI) carries out research activity on fundamental mathematical problems and methodology for understanding, analysing, processing and simulating data.

CCIMI students have each created short videos, showcasing and explaining their work, which will be watched as part of the first ever CCIMI Student Video Contest.

The student videos will be shown on Wednesday 15th November at 16.00, with a team of judges, comprised of Ewan Kirk (CEO of Cantab Capital Partners), Marianne Freiberger (Editor of Plus Magazine), and Carola Schönlieb (Director of the CCIM), choosing a winner.

The event will be followed by a wine reception, where the winning video will be announced!
It will take place at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Cambridge.
