The Advanced Cancer Imaging Programme at CRUK Cambridge Centre, will hold a one-day workshop on Thursday 13th February 2020, that will bring together Cambridge based researchers to apply known methods that are used in Physics, Mathematics and Engineering to answer unsolved problems for tumour image analysis.

Problems will be presented to participants on the day and participants can spend time brainstorming ideas and beginning to develop novel mathematical/computational models for each of the problems.

The problems will include:

Developing novel methods to unravel tumour heterogeneity
Methods for dynamic tracking of tumour micro environment
Cancer targeting: Detecting disease and delivering therapy: new collaborative strategies.
Multimodality imaging - how to combine data from different imaging techniques
Material and structure to evaluate tumour Morphology.
